This 1981 short documentary gives an insight into Ronald Sharp, the self-taught builder of the Grand Organ in the Concert Hall of Sydney Opera House. Ronald and others worked painstakingly for ten years to build the Grand Organ, which consists of 10,244 individual pipes and is the largest mechanical tracker-action pipe organ in the world. British organist and composer Peter Hurford is featured in the film, playing the instrument. The first public recital was performed on 7th June 1979, almost six years after the opening of the Opera House.
