Go backstage at the Sydney Opera House as students from the Australian World Orchestra education programme prepare to take the recently re-opened Concert Hall stage for A Night To Shine!
Students also share their experiences of the Australian World Orchestra’s programme for young regional and metropolitan classical musicians; where professionals from the AWO teach masterclasses, mentoring and symposia. This programme culminates in the once in a lifetime opportunity for over 120 young musicians to perform onstage next to AWO mentors at the Sydney Opera House.
The orchestras participating in A Night To Shine are the AWO, Regional Youth Orchestra NSW, The Arts Unit Symphony Orchestra NSW, and North Sydney Girls High Orchestra.
Watch a recording of the full performance of A Night To Shine! on Sydney Opera House Stream.
