Returning to the Sydney Opera House after his digital debut as part of From Our House to Yours, Ziggy Ramo is a gifted young rapper who has quickly become one the nation’s hip-hop luminaries. Mixing provocative rhymes and old school inspired beats to uplift community and speak truth to power, his widely acclaimed 2020 album Black Thoughts was named by NME as “the most important Australian album of the year.”
with special guest DJ Plead
Ziggy Ramo performed live at the Sydney Opera House for Barrabuwari (‘tomorrow’ in the Gadigal language), an Indigenous-led and culturally diverse showcase that highlighted the next generation of game-changers across hip-hop, pop, soul, and techno.
Presented by Sydney Opera House. This event was part of the Culture Up Late initiative Summer in the City program, proudly funded by the NSW Government.
