JK-47 is an explosive young Indigenous rapper whose jaw-dropping mic skills and powerful sense of community saw him crowned triple j’s 2020 Unearthed Artist of the Year.
This set was performed live at the Sydney Opera House for Barrabuwari (‘tomorrow’ in the Gadigal language), an Indigenous-led and culturally diverse showcase that highlighted the next generation of game-changers across hip-hop, pop, soul, and techno.
