Provisional Studies: Workshop #7 How to live together, and sharing the unknown is part artistic project and part social experiment. Artist Koki Tanaka invited local residents of Munster, Germany, where this project was later exhibited, to participate in a series of workshops over the course of nine days. Throughout each workshop, the participants are asked to discuss certain provocations, including the question, ‘what does it mean to live together?’. Within their moments of sharing and connection, there is solidarity and comfort among the participants, along with moments of conflict and tension. Provisional Studies presents this information through the perspective of a third party observer, ultimately examining human nature in light of the unknown.
