Electronic music legends returned to the Concert Hall for a euphoric series of sold-out shows during Vivid LIVE 2024. Featuring classic tracks from across their catalogue and never before seen behind-the-scenes footage, this new concert film showcases why this iconic duo have stood the test of time over the past four decades.
In the world of electronic dance music, Underworld need no introduction. Since their earliest days on the underground pop scene of the 1980s, Welsh duo Karl Hyde and Rick Smith went on to become one of techno’s defining acts, moving from pioneering electro-rock albums like 1988’s Underneath the Radar to their iconic ‘90s records dubnobasswithmyheadman, Second Toughest in the Infants, and Beaucoup Fish, and their unforgettable party anthem “Born Slippy (NUXX)”. After scoring the 2012 London Olympics, the duo continued to release blistering albums that pushed the boundaries of techno, from 2016’s acclaimed, Grammy-nominated Barbara, Barbara, We See a Shining Future to their recent multimedia series DRIFT, which was accompanied by sold-out performances around the world.
Shot over three nights in the Concert Hall, and directed by Dave May and Pat Rohl of Tall Story Films, this new concert film captures one of the most talked-about shows of the season.
