In a rare one-off performance, neo-soul R&B artist Ngaiire joins forces with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for a transcendent night of music, art and power on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, conducted by Nicholas Buc.
Blending ARIA-nominated First Nations star Ngaiire’s dazzling, futuristic R&B sound with the symphonic might of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the performance will draw on the artist’s career and her latest album – the critically-acclaimed epic 3 – arranged for orchestra by award-winning composer Alex Turley for an all-out concert featuring soulful pop bangers.
Ngaiire’s latest album, the audio-visual masterpiece 3, draws upon her eclectic musical stylings and her work as a visual artist, taking us on her journey through her ancestral villages in Papua New Guinea. With the orchestral weight of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra behind her, Ngaiire’s nuanced, multi-layered soul is set to flourish as never before.
