Liminal is a bold contemporary music film series featuring eight Australian artists as they create unique live performances for the screen.
The perfect expression of our future-facing new Liminal music series, 22-year-old electronic producer, DJ and songwriter Nina Wilson – aka Ninajirachi – is set to transform the Joan Sutherland Theatre with the cutting-edge sound of tomorrow, making her very first appearance live on stage at the Sydney Opera House.
Already a prolific, in-demand producer and collaborator, Ninajirachi broke out with her leftfield 2018 debut, “Pure Luck”, before linking up with dance heavyweight Nina Las Vegas for a string of releases on NLV Records. Since then, she has remixed tracks for the likes of Deadmau5 and The Neptunes, Flight Facilities and Hermitude, performed knockout sets at Splendour in the Grass, Field Day and Falls Festival, and opened for hyperpop queen Charli XCX. And she’s just getting started: since 2020, she has released a ton of new music, including the innovative True North EP with Kota Banks. Don’t miss this chance to catch one of Australia’s hottest dance music exports before she goes supernova.
“One of Australia’s first notable hyperpop artists… Wilson’s music is glassy and exhilarating, drawing in club influences alongside the bright, exaggerated sound.” – The Guardian
